We went on our annual apple picking outing this weekend which, to me, means fall is officially here. I made a conscious decision to avoid using my phone to take photos, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. while we were there and instead focus on using my camera to capture the afternoon. I'm glad I did and I'm so happy with how these photos turned out. It's made me realize that I need to be more intentional about where I put my creative energy with all these social media outlets competing for attention.
We stopped by Doe Orchards again for apples this year. We discovered it last year and it's a great spot because it's never crowded and you walk straight in to the orchard from you car, it's nice and simple. After we picked apples we headed up to Portsmouth to have lunch and hang out for a few hours. Always my favorite spot to visit in the Fall.
